GETAWAY Yacht Description

M/S GETAWAY is a luxurious yacht available for charter in the Eastern Mediterranean and she certainly lives up to her name with her very comfortable cabins and vast number of amenities. Launched from Mural Shipyard - Istanbul in March 2009, this yacht is a strong contender to be the favorite of any discerned traveller who desires nothing but the best during their time at sea.

With a traditional hull shape and contemporary interior, she provides the ultimate comfort outdoors and indoors with her open spacious design and light coloured interiors. Unusual amongst many gullets is the level of attention that was paid to her sail performance.

Getaway's sail plan and deck layout were designed with a high level of cruising performance in mind whilst still ensuring this yacht is simple, safe and enjoyable to sail.

Advertised by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht GETAWAY is a 102 ft sailboat. The main attractions of GETAWAY are her most appealing features and fantastic layout. GETAWAY spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was delivered by the well-known ship builder MURAL SHIPYARDS in 2009. A succesful refit was finalized in 2015. The spacious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.

The sailboat features Engines: 2x Cummins 355 hp Generators: 2x ONAN 27.5 kW engines and a generator.

Accommodation

All cabins are en-suite, have 24 hour air-conditioning and heating which are individually controlled, full length mirrors, vanity tables with make-up mirror, reading lights, safes to lock away personal belongings, a full range of entertainment equipment such as DVD player, LCD screen HD televisions and connection to satellite TV and the onboard GPS. Every bathroom is equipped with a electric toilet and large showers with rain shower heads. Fwd of the galley on the port side is the VIP cabin which sleeps two in a queen size bed. The starboard side houses two cabins which can be converted from twin to a king set up. The master cabin is found furthest fwd and is abundantly spacious with large his and hers wardrobe, with ample space for hanging long summer dresses. Guests can sleep in comfort on the californian king sized bed and enjoy the fresh outdoor air via the many portholes located in this cabin making sure they don't lose contact with the beautiful turquoise waters.

Captain: Adem Turk

CAPTAIN / Adem Turk
Captain Adem started his yachting career in 1998 and has been working on charter yachts ever since. For the past nine years he was in command of Serenity 70 which he turned into one of the most successful charter vessels in Turkey before being promoted to Getaway in 2014 by the same owner. He knows the Southern coast of Turkey like the back of his hand and enjoys sharing this turquoise paradise with his guests. He is warm, funny and detailed in his work. With his knowledge and experience, Adem delivers a memorable and safe vacation to all his guests. He is married and has two beautiful daughters. Adem speaks Turkish, English and beginner German.

CHIEF STEWARD / Yigit Bostancioglu
Born and raised in Istanbul, Yigit’s educational background is centered around IT. However, he took an interest in the yachting sector in 2015 where he gained extensive experience as a deckhand and has been promoted onto Getaway due to excellent interest and performance he displayed during his first season. He always carries a positive energy and is a very pleasant person to be around. He is fluent in English and Turkish. Interests: Sailing, photography, hiking, reading , travelling, water sports and outdoor activities.
