Captain: Jeff Varga

CAPTAIN JEFF VARGA | CANADIAN
Captain Jeff is originally from B.C. Canada, where he grew up on a beautiful lake in the mountains. He has been around water & boats his whole life. At 20, Jeff started working in the Oil & Gas industry where he worked for 3.5 years. Jeff decided that his love of the ocean was more important and he became a Scuba diving instructor. At age 26, Jeff ventured out into the world to the Caribbean. From there he worked in the Turks & Caicos islands, Bahamas, on a cruise ship, and eventually worked on a Live-Aboard dive boat. Upon turning 30, he decided to get a “Real Job” and moved back to Canada to become a real estate agent. After 5 years of the cold and snow, he felt the call of warm weather and sandy beaches and left Canada. He eventually settled in the Cayman Islands where he lived for 6 years captaining dive boats up to 50 feet and then learning how to sail 65 foot catamarans. Looking for the next challenge, he moved up to Ft. Lauderdale to start his career in Yachting. He was a temp captain on a few smaller boats, until he finished his Master of Yachts limited and became the captain of M/Y ESSENCE OF CAYMAN. He has been her captain since April 2018.

STEWARDESS ANDRIA LEW | CANADIAN
Andria is from Toronto, Canada and has a background in Real Estate and finance. After freezing in Canada for so many years, she decided to join the yachting industry in seek of adventure and the smell of the ocean air. She has worked on yachts as large as 220 ft but prefers working on boats the size of M/Y ESSENCE OF CAYMAN. In the last 9 years living abroad she has traveled to 33 countries including Spain, Kenya, Guatemala and Australia. Travel has opened her eyes and inspired her to travel with purpose. While traveling she has fundraised and built primary classrooms in both Kenya and Nicaragua. For the past 2 years Andria has been in LA with the opportunity to be in a close circle with Tai Lopez, who is one of the top social media marketers in the world. Andria is also a yoga instructor and would love to start your day off with some light stretching. With an infectious smile, happy energy and experience. Andria will be sure to help you create unforgettable memories.
