CAPTAIN Nelson Moore - Irish, born 1979

Previous yachts: Windfall as First Officer from her purchase in 2014, Whisper (Southern Wind 78),Flica (Oyster 53), Laragh (Farr 56), Whitefly (Royal Huisman 60)
Sail and work experience: Nelson started his career as a professional seafarer at sixteen, working on boat maintenance for the Royal Cork Yacht Club, and being the helmsman of the clubs race committee boat. On completion of his studies, Nelson took part to several deliveries, continuing his involvement in the maintenance of sailing yachts. He then managed a group of companies involved in charters, marinas management and yacht services. He has been working in and around boats for over 20 years now. His extensive knowledge is based on more than 50.000 miles, sailed between the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and Caribbean, covering the roles, time by time, of deckhand or skipper. Through the years he had an extensive racing activity on boats ranging from the Irish 1720 (several National and European Championships) to International Dragons, to Maxi Yachts in various IRC regattas and Superyacht events such as the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, the Rolex Maxi Worlds, Les Voiles de St. Tropez. Nelson has also taken part to several offshore races, such as the RORC Caribbean 600, and two Atlantic Transats. Thanks to his varied experience, he ensures safe navigation in comfort, and for the keen ones, fun sailing.
Cruised waters: Irish Sea, Mediterranean, Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.

Sail and work experience: Jordan grew up in the seaside town of Falmouth, UK. Growing up in Cornwall gave him a passion for outdoor life, and a love for outdoor adventure sports and leisure. Since finishing education, he has worked professionally in the yachting industry, gaining a wealth of knowledge and developing many seamanship skills, and see himself to be responsible, trustworthy and hard working. Jordan has taken part in many Classic Regattas and deliveries, clocking 50.000 miles sailing. Formerly member of the Great Britain Yacht Racing Academy, racing on a professional circuit around the UK on a carbon built Farr 52, including cross channel races.

Sail and work experience: Bernard has worked for 20 years as a professional chef and has over 10 years experience aboard Private and Charter Yachts, sail and motor. Ever since he has been travelling and learning all over the world, including New York (at the prestigious Bondst Restaurant), Asia, Canada, France, Spain and Italy. He loves to travel; in fact, he has been overseas for 7 over the last 9 years. For Bernard, the plus of working on board is the freedom to create different menus every day and to have instant feedback from guests.
