WORK EXPERIENCE | A native of Bodrum, cpt Mehmet has been cruising all his life for the last few decades in between Turkish riviera and Eastern Mediterranean. He got his first taste of sailing on a small sailing gulet charter and never looked back. Upon returning home, Mehmet enrolled in the required seamanship courses and launched into his newly found vocation full time, first as a dive instructor, then engineer, and soon moved up the ranks to his first captain’s job. He has captained charter and private yachts over the course of his 30+ year career seagoing adventures fill a virtual pirate’s treasure chest of entertaining stories to his guests and he will impress even the most well-traveled clientele.

JOB DESCRIPTION | As master of the yacht , Mehmet's primary focus is the safety of the guests and crew. His myriad duties range from navigation to accounting, planning and managing charters, to the overall management of the yacht and crew.
Delegation of responsibilities are essential. The heads of the various departments – Galley, Interior, Deck and Engineering, work in concert with Mehmet to ensure each and every cruise is a relaxing and rewarding experience. He encourages a service-oriented daily work ethic among the crew while maintaining just the right tone of formal or casual ambiance aboard as desired by the guests.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES | MCA endorsed IYT Yacht Master- or Motor Yachts of 3000 Gross Tons, and Turkish yacht captain licence for 500 GRT , Ship's Security Officer, Professional Assoc. of Dive Instructors:

HOBBIES | When not on the water, you will find Mehmet enjoying their home in Bodrum busy with scuba diving, underwater photography and quiet strolls on the beach, or at their mountain hide-away in Inlice , enjoying, bicycling and training for the next summer

WORK EXPERIENCE | Hasan is a very talented and has never failed to impress our guests by going over and beyond their expectations. He is known for his specialty seafood dishes, in which many guests have requested the recipes for. He is very keen to adapt to new recipes, based on personal requests, On all of our previous charters Hasan have been successful in going over and beyond the satisfaction of our guests, We are more than pleased to accommodate our guests.

CHIEF ENGINEER | AHMET UZUN

WORK EXPERIENCE | Ahmet grew up in a small town along the green coastline of Antalya. His enthusiasm for the sea started at the age of 18 when he moved to Bodrum to work in a dive shop. Shore diving and sailing around Gokova bay and Peninsula of hisaronu became a regular activity. In between all the fun, Ahmet completed his schooling; after graduation he worked as the manager of a safari lodge. Two years later, Ahmet's desire to work on the water spurred him to take on “the big blue” and sail to warm mediterranean waters. With many years of sailing and working on large yachts Ahmet joined SEA DREAM his dedicated deck team plan your perfect beach day, water sports activities or excursion ashore.

WORK EXPERIENCE | Kutay is from the city Sinop in the north of Turkey. at the age of 15, he embarked on an epic 2.5 year voyage with her family on a 38 ft sailing yacht and created her fondest memories. While studying in Istanbul, He decided to embark on a career traveling at sea by joining the yachting industry. Kutay is SEA DREAM'S wine aficionado and takes a serious interest in expanding her knowledge base. In conjunction with the Chef, KUTAY ensures that the pairings of wine with food enhance your gastronomic experience. KUTAY is dedicated to making your time aboard SEA DREAM the best holiday of your life.

Serpil grew up in the coastal town of Marmaris, Turkey, where her love for the outdoors, water sports and ocean conservation sparked. Packing a bag and jetting away from home is no daunting task for Serpil since, from a young age, she was enrolled in boarding school. She brings a warm friendliness to SEA DREAM, always willing to go the extra mile, never failing to make those around her feel welcome and ensuring a great time is had by all. Serpil joined the yachting industry immediately after school where she hopes to combine her love for the ocean and passion for hospitality.
