ONEIDA Yacht Description

ONEIDA is a 52-foot long sailing catamaran built by Lagoon in 2020. This modern yacht’s layout features 5 cabins and accommodates up to 10 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 5 VIP cabins, all with private facilities and fully air conditioned.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht ONEIDA is a 52 ft sailing catamaran. The most valuable elements of ONEIDA are her well-chosen interiors and experienced crew. ONEIDA spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was completed by the ship builder Lagoon in 2020. The well-planned yacht layout features 5 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.

ONEIDA is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and usually it is where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. Multiple portholes connect you with the outside world.

The sailboat features 2 x 80 HP (Yanmar 4JH80) engines and a generator.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like ONEIDA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€3,700 - €6,475), making the charter cost €22,200 to €24,975. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Should any changes in applicable tax legislation take place after the issuance of a charter agreement resulting in changes in total amount(s) due then the difference will be credited or debited accordingly to the Charterer.

Captain - Sotiris Drokalos

His name is Sotiris but everyone calls him "Captain SO."
Everything he knows about himself is that he loves the sea, that he was born near it, that he lives by and for it.
His sailing experience began when he was ten years old, thanks to his father who bought him his first windsurf. This is when he decided to follow his dream of becoming a seafarer.
He has spent more than ten years as a captain on a variety of sailing vessels in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Because of his sailing experience, calmness, dedication, and vigilance, he can safely sail you under any circumstances and he will do my best to ensure that your holiday exceeds your higher expectations!
A bit more of me... S.C.U.B.A. is one of his hobbies. Diving, flying ultralight aircraft, skiing, windsurfing, playing the guitar, playing and designing board games are all things he enjoys doing
but ultimately, all he does is spend his free time with his 3-year-old twins.

Gregory is a talented and passionate chef from Greece with a diverse culinary background spanning over 10 years of experience. After completing his studies in Le Monde Culinary School Athens, he has developed ability to create delightful menus according to individual preferences. From creating menus, food management, safety and hygiene standards he is excited to return to the sea and create new dishes and a wonderful dining atmosphere on board. Fluent in both Greek and English, he is committed to providing Oneida guests with an unforgettable gastronomic journey. He specializes in Greek and Mediterranean flavors. Gregory's professional journey includes roles such as Head Chef at notable establishments, where he demonstrated leadership and creativity in culinary arts.

Harris is a motivated and reliable crew member with a passion for sailing and guest service. Fluent in English and Greek, he communicates easily with international guests and contributes to a welcoming onboard atmosphere. Skilled in handling daily tasks on a sailing catamaran, he is a team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
