Captain: Dionysis Pantazis

Captain - Dionysis Pantazis (Greek)
Captain Dionysis is 40 years old and holds a Captain Class A’ degree from the “Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos”. He also holds certificates in First Aid, Medical Care Onboard Ship, RO-RO Passenger, Life Saving, Ship Security and Scuba Diving. With prior experience gained onboard tonnage tanker vessels, he moved on to luxury charter yachts and has remained working on charter yachts for the past 11 years. Having extensive experience navigating the Greek Seas, Cpt. Dionysis will cruise with guests to special and unspoiled beaches, showing them some of the hidden gems of Greece. Cpt. Dionysis’ leadership skills, combined with his great attention to detail and dedicated persona, make for a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere onboard, with the guests at ease. He assures each charterer a unique and memorable experience onboard MI ALMA.

Chief Engineer - John Karavas (Greek)
John is 47 years old and holds an Engineer B’ Class diploma as well as a Captain Class B’ degree from the “Nautical College of Kimis”. He has been working on luxury charter yachts for the past 9 years and spent 27 years on large passenger vessels and cargo ships. He is extremely hard working and will make sure that all technical equipment onboard is running smoothly. John’s warm smile and sincere dedication to his job makes guests feel welcome and well taken care of while onboard. In his free time John enjoys fishing.

Chef – Dimitris - Evangelos Agrimis (Greek)
Dimitris is 34 years old with over 14 years experience working in the culinary field. He holds a Chef’s Diploma from “Le Monde” School of Hotel and Tourism as well as has attended various culinary seminars throughout the years. For the past 3 years Dimitris has been Head Chef on board a 50 meter luxury charter yacht and prior to this was working in luxury restaurants and 5star hotels in Greece (such as Bill & Coo) as well as the Valtur Hotel in Italy. Dimitris is a skilled and creative chef with vast knowledge of Mediterranean and International cuisine, satisfying the most demanding guests. He is pleased to have joined the crew of MI ALMA and looks forward to continuing to bring joy to guests through his creations. In his free time Dimitris enjoys traveling and tasting local flavors.

Chief Stewardess– Eirini Savva (Greek)
Eirini is 45 years old with over 12 years of experience working as a Chief Stewardess on board luxury yachts, both private and for charter. Eirini has always had a strong relationship with the sea, having grown-up at her father’s shipyard ‘Savvas’ where she assisted from a young age and evolved to carrying out all public relations matters of the shipyard. Eirini also ran and owned her own catering business organizing celebratory events such as weddings and baptisms. She is a dynamic, dedicated and communicative person, who works well as a team player. She has great enthusiasm and attention to detail with a drive and love for what she does. Eirini has also attended seminars in restaurant operation, food and beverage management from LE MONDE, How to achieve high service standards of HNW I and UHNW I onboard luxury yachts, as well as Lifeguard training. In her free time, Eirini enjoys cooking, sailing, music, dancing, playing basketball and most importantly spending time with her 2 children, which tends to occupy most all of her time. Eirini looks forward to welcoming guests on board the MI ALMA.

Stewardess – Katerina Papamanoli (Greek)
Katerina is 42 years old. For the past 10 years Katerina has been working in the service industry on board luxury charter yachts as well in various hotels. Katerina is hard working, focused and aims to accommodate guests’ needs to the fullest. With her warm and friendly personality guests are sure to feel at home while on board the m/y MI ALMA. In her free time Katerina enjoys traveling and meeting new people.

Salior – Nick Melas (Greek)
Nick is 31 years old and a graduate from the Merchant marine Academy with a 2nd degree in Maritime Business, South Hampton. He spent several years as an Apprentice Officer on tanker vessels and has moved over, after some time away from the sea, to luxury charter yachts. Nick has a small boat license as well as holds certificates in Life Saving, RO-RO Passenger, Security Officer, tanker safety and Gas course. Nick has a friendly demeanor with a large smile which will make guests feel at ease in his presence. Guests will find Nick keeping the exterior of the yacht in perfect condition and assisting them with the various water sports. In Nick’s free time he enjoys snowboarding, running and CrossFit.
