Captain: Michael Romeling

CAPTAIN: Michael Romeling
Michael has been associated with the sea since 1972, training as BP tanker Deck Officer.
Michael takes every opportunity to embrace the sea and this combined with a keen interest for diving and wildlife both above and below the water, fuels Michaels passion for adventure at sea. Michael has owned Lord Jim for the past fifteen years and has lovingly overseen her restoration to the beautiful yacht that she is today.

MATE ENGINEER: Luke O'Brien
After leaving school Luke started working as full time mechanic and engineer whilst keeping up his international level of dinghy racing, which he had been competing in from the age of 12. Luke has been working on boats since the age of 19, and has gained his qualification and experience as an ocean yacht master. Over the last 8 years he has sailed in Greece, UK, Turkey and Holland. Gaining a wide range of experience as a Mate, Boson, Engineer and Captain.

CHEF: Lee Hough
Lee is a professional chef who mixes classical Scottish ingredients to produce the most delightful Scottish fare. Nothing is too much trouble for Lee and his abilities in the galley are equally matched by his story telling and warm personality. Ask him for some Scottish fudge and you will be his friend for life!

STEWARDESS: Emily Leppard
From an early age Emily has had a passion for travelling which has seen her live and work in Greece, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland and Sicily.
Emily has always looked after her friends and family and now as the stewardess aboard Lord Jim, she enjoys making sure our guests receive 5-star service every day.

THE SEA DOG: Ben
A cheeky, hairy chappie, who loves everything about water and Lord Jim! Ben is an extraordinaire third officer and is always looking to curry favour with the guests. Bens best friend is of course the Chef, closely followed by any guest that shows him the slightest attention, tickles his tummy or takes him ashore for a walk. By the way he loves squeaky toys!
