Captain: Anders Berling

Anders Berling grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and fell in love with sailing at a young age sailing on Jackson Lake in the Grand Tetons. He started his career as a professional snowboarder but once he saw the oceans aboard a sailing yacht, he was hooked. A Pacific crossing on a carbon fiber Gunboat catamaran convinced him that sailing would be his life’s passion and career choice. After getting his RYA/MCA Captain’s credentials in Cape Town, South Africa he flew directly to Newport, Rhode Island to captain the Wild Horses race program. He has captained a multitude of yachts since then, including programs in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and the U.S. East Coast.

When he is not sailing, Anders loves an active lifestyle including hiking, swimming, surfing, and skiing. His expertise includes super- yacht regattas, adventurous exploration and providing clients a 5- star experience. He has spent many winters in the Caribbean and considers it a second home. Anders brings energy to everything he does and is passionate about sharing his enthusiasm for sailing with everyone he meets, novice or veteran of the sea.

Anders will be joined by a chef/mate to assist with catering and service during your charter.
