MEET THE CREW
Captain: Riley Morrison
Chef/First mate: Mackenzie Thomas
Riley is from Nova Scotia in Canada, where he grew up surrounded by the ocean. At university he studied Biology and engineering, which led him to work in the forestry industry in Northern Canada for 6 years.
After completing school, Riley set off for Cape Town, where he got his Yachtmaster qualification and completed deliveries up and down the coast of South Africa.
He then spent three seasons in Europe, doing sailboat charters in Croatia and Montenegro. He has also worked on a modern 57m sailing yacht in the Caribbean.
Riley has also competed in offshore races such as the 2017 Fastnet race.
Born in Alaska and raised in Montana, Mackenzie has always had a passion for the outdoors.
While earning her degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Oregon, she also
spent a year in France where she studied the language, culture, and especially the cuisine. She
loved seeing people bond and spend hours over a few dishes and bottles of wine. After
graduating, she traveled extensively to Australia, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia, picking up
each country dishes (and cocktails!) along the way before finding herself working professionally
in the Mediterranean for guests from around the world.
Everything from homegrown southern style to fresh Mediterranean, she’ll make sure you are
enjoying everything that the Caribbean island life has to offer.
Growing up working in a hospitality for her entire life, she prides herself on giving everyone that
comes aboard her boat an exceptional guest experience. She hopes that her cuisines along
with her genuinely fun personality will make your Caribbean vacation one to remember!
