Meet Captain Jiorgos, born in 1971, whose passion for sailing ignited at the tender age of 9, racing lasers, optimists, and 4.70s. By the age of 19, he had already embraced the role of a skipper, embarking on an extensive sailing journey that, throughout the years, encompassed the Mediterranean Sea, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the west coast of Africa, and the Pacific coast of Central America. Remarkably, he has crossed the Atlantic Ocean 12 times.
In 2001, Captain Jiorgos received the first-class Medal of Honor from the Minister of Merchant Marine for his crucial role in the rescue mission of the passengers of the ferry boat Samina. Today, he stands as an exceptionally experienced sailing and motor yacht captain, known for his adaptability, easy-going nature, and sociability. Jiorgos is more than a captain; he is a storyteller, ready to make your sailing vacation the trip of a lifetime with his adventure tales and helpful attitude.
Apart from sailing, Captain Jiorgos is passionate about water sports, he is creating art work from recycled tools and loves to improve and re-build his long-time summer house project. Fluent in Greek and English, he also has a basic command of German, adding an extra layer of communication for a diverse range of guests. Meet Alekos , a culinary maestro born in 1975 in Athens, Greece, with two decades of expertise in the yachting industry. Alekos has dedicated 20 years to crafting delightful culinary experiences on both private and charter yachts, spanning the realms of sailing and motor yachts. As a trained chef, Alekos takes pride in creating extraordinary dishes daily, leaving clients awe-struck with his intriguing flavors, harmonious combinations, and impeccable presentations. His talents extend beyond the kitchen, showcasing his capability and adaptability in maintaining the yacht and assisting the captain. Known for his quiet demeanor, strong work ethic, and exceptional responsibility, Alekos is a multifaceted professional. Emelyn Adupe, born in the Philippines in 1982 and residing in Greece for the past few years with her family, is an accomplished and adept stewardess committed to delivering an outstanding charter experience to her guests.
Her meticulous attention to detail, amiable personality, and robust organizational skills mark her as an indispensable member of any yacht crew. Emelyn's unwavering commitment to excellence and her genuine passion for hospitality contribute to a delightful and well-catered atmosphere on board. Working with Emelyn ensures that guests consistently feel pampered and cared for throughout their yachting journey.

Deckhand: Joel Adupe Secuenza

Meet Joel, a seasoned professional with 16 years of experience in the yachting industry. At 36 years old, he has been dedicated to serving both private and charter yachts, specializing in motor yachts and luxury vessels since 2006. Possessing an AB rank, Joel is known for his strong work ethic, kindness, discretion, and attentiveness to the needs of his guests.
Fluent in Filipino and English, with a basic understanding of Greek, Joel brings a multicultural touch to his role, ensuring effective communication and a seamless experience for everyone on board. With Joel as your deckhand, you can trust that your yacht journey will be not only safe but also enriched by his professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction.

Rotational Crew:

Captain Akis Papalopoulos
Akis, born in 1958, is the rotational captain of Just Marie II and has been a dedicated professional in the yachting industry since 1985. With decades of experience captaining a wide range of private and charter yachts across Greece and the Mediterranean, he brings exceptional sailing knowledge and deep familiarity with the charter world. Akis is known for his hands-on assistance with water sports, hard-working attitude, and strong focus on safety. He speaks both Greek and English and consistently ensures smooth, enjoyable, and secure experiences for all guests onboard.

Chef: Georgios Kolettis
Chef George was born in 1995 and is originally from Athens. He began his culinary career in 5-star hotels throughout Greece. He is a young and ambitious chef with over 9 years in dynamic, busy and demanding cooking environments. He has been a private chef for families and was the chef on several luxury motor yachts. George draws his inspiration from the sea and the local Greek produce and products. He is passionate about creating tasteful dishes with a modern Greek flare. He has completed several additional cooking seminars which include Chocolate and art craft, superfoods and sous vide cooking. He looks forward to welcoming guests on Just Marie II and creating an unforgettable holiday in the gorgeous Greek Islands. Languages: Greek and English (fluent)

Stewardess: Violetta Dagiamou
Violetta, stewardess of Just Marie II, hails from Thessaloniki, Greece, and brings a wealth of yachting experience and dedication to service excellence. Since 2015, she has worked on a variety of private and charter yachts ranging from 26m to 42m, including My Way, My Toy, Baba June III, O, and most recently Just Marie II. Her roles as stewardess, deckhand, and hostess-cook have equipped her with outstanding versatility, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Violetta holds an Offshore Sailing Diploma, complementing her strong sailing experience, and is always ready to assist with special arrangements such as traditional Greek music performances or babysitting services. Fluent in Greek, English, and German, and with a BA in Art History and Theory, she brings both cultural insight and professionalism, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable and seamless charter experience.

Deckhand: Jon Adupe Secuenza
Don Adupe Secuanza is a highly experienced yachting professional with nearly 20 years in the industry, serving aboard both private and charter motor yachts. Specializing in luxury vessels, Don is recognized for his strong work ethic, warm demeanor, discretion, team work and attentiveness to guest needs. He speaks Filipino and English fluently and has a basic knowledge of Greek, adding a multicultural dimension to his service. With Don as part of the crew you can count on a safe, smooth, and enjoyable journey, marked by his professionalism and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction.
