Captain: George Kordas

Captain: George Kordas (Greek)
Captain George was born in 1956 and holds an A' class diploma after having graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses. He has been serving the yachting industry onboard charter yachts for more than twenty five years and he has been with the same Owners for the last 8 years. In his previous experience, he has worked on tanker ships and commercial vessels. In his free time he likes cycling, jogging and sports. Captain George is a very kind person who will do his best for an unforgettable cruise onboard! He speaks English and basic Spanish.

Engineer: Stelios Babatzianis (Greek)
Stelios was born in 1976. He has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Chios and holds an engineer class A’ diploma. He has worked on various commercial and passenger ships before joining yachting. His previous yachts among others are M/Y Rini , M/Y Rini V, M/Y Water Toy III. In 2018 he started working on M/Y GIOE I with great professionalism. Stelios is a very kind and enthusiastic person with passion for the sea. His hobby is fishing and he speaks English.

Chef: Penelope Antonopoulou (Greek)
Penelope holds a Chef's diploma and has attended many seminars such as “International Cuisines”, “Preparation and Presentation Mediterranean Menu” etc. In her past experience, she has worked onboard cruise ships and motor yachts and joined Gioe I in 2018. Penelope prepares delicious dishes with fresh ingredients and offers authentic traditional aromas and tastes from the famous Greek cuisine as well as the international ones. She enjoys reading and she speaks English.

Steward: Manolito Bais (Philippino)
Manolito was born in 1970 and he has a bachelor degree in Business Administration. He started working in hospitality however soon after he moved to yachting industry where he gained valuable experience on board various yachts such as M/Y Danny B and M/Y Sunday. Manolito is a multitasking and skilled person offering silver services onboard M/Y Gioe I with a big smile. He combines experience and a lovely character that makes him a valuable asset for the yacht. He speaks English, Greek and Tagalog (native).

Sailor/Steward: Avelino Mendoza Junior (JR)(Philippino)
Jr was born in 1976 and has graduated from the Philippines Maritime Institute in 1994. He has been working on private and charter yachts for more than 19 years and the last 7 years on M/Y GIOE I. He is energetic and a great team player; he will work miracles during charters to make sure that the guests will feel like home onboard! His hobbies are swimming, basketball and playing the guitar. He speaks English and Tagalog (native).
