CAPTAIN: OLEKSIY STASHKEVYCH - UKRANIAN

Oleksiy is a champion captain boasting over 15 years of yachting experience in a range of areas, seven of which he has spent as a captain where he has cruised the waters of the Mediterranean, Balearics, Black Sea, and Caribbean. Although this is not the only thing he is a champion of, Oleksiy is a champion of Ukraine in offshore sailing races, a national winner in Olympic program’s class of 470 and Laser Standard, he has won many other national and international regattas in different classes. On top of all this, Oleksiy is a professional kitesurfer and instructor. He also enjoys surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding. However, he does set some time aside for a good book.

STEWARDESS: KYLA JORDAAN - SOUTH AFRICAN

Kyla has been working in various positions within the yachting industry for the past two years and has now decided to dive straight in and join M/Y Double D as Stewardess/Cook. Previously Kyla has shore crew in a professional sailing racing team and most recently a yacht management
company. In her spare time Kyla enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, running, swimming. And, when possible, she also likes mountain biking, netball, skiing, bowling, and hiking.

DECKHAND: MYKYTA BUSHTIAN - UKRANIAN

Mykyta is committed and hard working with over ten years of yachting experience he joined the yachting industry five years ago when he joined the M/Y Princess Anastasia. Previously Mykyta has been part of national and Olympic sailing teams and is a champion of Ukraine. Even in his spare time Mykyta doesn’t rest, his hobbies include sailing, windsurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and photography.
