Captain: Spence Gallagher
CAPTAIN: Spencer Gallagher
Spencer hails from the Great Lakes state of Michigan. He has spent the past 15 years cruising the waters of the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Spence worked his way through the ranks of yachting starting upon graduation as a first mate on large yachts and captaining his first vessel at the age of 24. Capt. Spence has earned an impressive reputation as a captain with extensive local knowledge of the Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida Keys and the coastline of Florida that enables him to fulfill your yachting dreams—diving with sharks, swimming with wild hogs, enjoying a lunch ashore on a secluded serene island or taking in a magnificent sunset in a quiet cove. An entertaining tour guide, he can take you to destinations off the beaten path for a truly unique experience. He is a fun charter captain willing to go the extra mile for his owner, guests and crew. Spencer's hobbies include sailing, scuba diving, golf, wake boarding & adventure travel.
FIRST MATE: Rudi Turner
Rudi hails from Durban, on the east coast of South Africa. Rudi came into yachting to see the world from sea level. With his hospitality degree, he has worked his way through the Mediterranean, Caribbean and up and down the eastern seaboard of the US.
Rudi brings his high-energy and enthusiasm to your charter experience, ensuring that your days are filled with exploring the water, local shorelines and instilling you with the confidence to rock at all of the water sports, even the ones you didn’t think you could do.
CHIEF STEWARDESS: Erica Gallagher
A home grown North Carolinian, Erica will treat you to warm southern hospitality. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, she worked in a Country Club as the assistant beverage and hospitality manager in Wrightsville Beach, NC. There she met Captain Spence who turned her love of the water into a career. Erica has been working fulltime on yachts for the last five years taking her many years of serving, bartending, and managing into top gear offering the highest level of service and travel experience!

DECKHAND: Jason Watson
Jason traded his view of computer screens as an IT professional in coastal Durban, South Africa, for the sweeping vistas of the sea. Jason’s yachting travels allow him to indulge his passion for photography, always searching for new vantage points and unique angles. He loves all kinds of water sports, from fishing to surfing, jet skiing and paddle boarding. When he is not exploring the waters and bays around Cherish II, he is long boarding and checking out cars.
SECOND STEWARDESS - Danielle Delapine
Danielle was born and raised in sunny Jupiter Florida and found herself on the water every chance possible. Prior to joining yachting she trained in Tae Kwon Do for eight years rising to the level of first degree black belt instructor while also attending Valencia Community College pursuing a psychology and modeling career. This led Danielle to move to New York City, for more opportunities. This big move is where her spark for travel and wanderlust really started to grow. After research, hard work and schooling for multiple yachting certificates Danielle has risen through the ranks while working with great crew on remarkable yachts. Danielle has a passion for fine detail a wonderful smile and caring attitude that can be felt with her bubbly presence onboard.
CHEF: Jeremy Smith
Chef Jeremy was Born in Jamestown New York, Jeremy joined the culinary industry at the age of 14. Jeremy found his love for the culinary arts while working at the Historic Athenaeum Hotel. Jeremy Graduated from the Connecticut Culinary Institute with a certificate in Advance Culinary Arts as well as baking and pastries. Jeremy moved to Florida for better weather and teamed up with a fellow culinary trained chef to open a fine dining restaurant called, Creative Cuisine and Wine Bar in Jupiter Florida. There he met a former yachtie and decided to join the industry. Jeremy has now taken his culinary arts skills and wine pairing knowledge and combined it with a passion to travel and work in the yachting industry. He has spent the last few years doing numerous charters throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean Chef Jeremy always strives to present elegant and eclectic dishes to surprise and delight guest on board. He is well versed in a numerous cuisines, specialty diets and has a health conscious mind.
