Crew

Crew Information

Captain: Dearn Chamberlain

Captain Dean hails from Johannesburg, South Africa where he started his sailing at a very young age. He was a member of his school's sailing team where he competed in top regattas for his age group. After much experience in sailing in his younger years, his love of sailing never ended; he went on to complete his Captains licence in Cape Town, South Africa. To complete his training he had to do a southern ocean crossing for 28 days which enriched his experience and made him more eager to start his career in the sailing industry. He started work aboard the superyachts and spent two years gaining valuable experience and traveling the world. This experience made him realise that his passion for sailing outweighed his love for the big superyachts, and he made a decision to move to the BVI and return to sailing yachts! He has now been sailing for three years and is as excited as the first day he set foot on a sailboat. Dean is also a dive instructor. His goal is to deliver his guests the ultimate week of memories, fun, and experiences!
First Mate and Chef Julia hails from Cape Town, South Africa. At a young age, she discovered her passion for cooking and her love for the ocean. When an opportunity arose to participate in a regatta, Julia began to realise her dreams to start building a career out of sailing. She fell in love with the sailing world! Since her introduction to sailing, Julia has sailed the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas and crossed the Atlantic ocean. She has managed to combine her love of the ocean with her love of cooking, developing her culinary skills while gathering some life-changing memories. Living the life on the islands was the easiest and best decision she has made to live the life she yearned for. Julia now lives in the BVI where she continues the journey of making and sharing unforgettable experiences with guests from all over the globe.
