Captain: Ian Berrington

Captain - Ian Berrington

Ian grew up between London and Scotland. He is a licenced 3000grt Captain and Y2 Chief Engineer. He started his yachting career teaching sailing in the U.K and lived on his own sailing yacht for several years. He has captained yachts up to 200 feet and has extensive charter experience sailing waters from Alaska to the Far East and beyond. Ian has also worked as a Naval Architect and Commercial Helicopter Pilot.

First Mate - Mike Nelson

Originally from Liverpool, England, Mike was a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Navy seeing active service in the Gulf and Northern Ireland. After leaving the Navy, he drove Land Rovers across the Sahara for an adventure tour company. Mike has captained a classic sailing yacht across the Atlantic and is now a qualified Chief Officer (unlimited).

Stewardess/Masseuse - Andrea Toro

Andrea ("Andy") is from Northern California. She is a licensed massage therapist and yoga instructor. Andy has a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She worked as a baristas and is passionate about her coffee. Her other passions included paddle boarding, swimming and cycling.

Steward/Chef - André D. Nowacki

André was born in California and grew up in Costa Rica. He graduated college with a degree in Business Administration, after which he went into tourism, working as a concierge, bartender and server in two prestigious restaurants, before training as a chef. His speaks four languages and is a keen chess player.
