AMAZON SOLO

Captain: Yusuf Gunduz

Yusuf has all together twentyfive years of sea life, of which ten years as yacht captain and has accumulated all the national and international qualifications including his yacht master license. He is with the Amazon Solo over 10 years. He has extensively cruised the Mediterranean on Sailing yachts and Motor yachts. With his knowledge and experience, Yusuf aims to provide an enjoyable and friendly time onboard Amazon Solo. Yusuf is 48 years old and speaks English and Turkish, all the guests like him a lot and highly appreciate his full commitment in providing them the best times onboard.


Chef: Imdat Demirel

Imdat has been chef in hotels and restaurants for over 30 years, he is working on the luxury gullets since 1999 and for the last three seasons he is working on the Amazon Solo.
Imdat has a very rich menu from the Turkish kitchen, some of the meals he prepares can not be easily found or prepared by many restaurants, he produces his own bread and pastries onboard as well as creative and tasty dishes and can customize a menu for any occasion or dietary preference. Imdat is 56 years old and speaks Turkish and limited English.



Senior sailor ( and bartender ) Ozcan Gunduz,

Ozcan has been working on boats for fifteen years and he is with our company over 15 years and on the Amazon Solo for 10 years. He has completed all the STWC safety courses and has able seamanship certificate. Ozcan is renowned for his cocktails and he can prepare delicious mixes for sundowners. Ozcan is 45 years old and speaks medium level English and Turkish.



Housekeeper & Stewardess Irem Koca,

İrem joined Amazon Solo this winter, last summer she was working on a gullet called Aslı Nil, which operates in Turkey & Greece. She is also graduate vocational school of Maritime and Port Management and She is a student of Maritime Management at Girne University in Cyprus. İrem is 24 years old and speaks medium Level English and Turkish.
