Onboard AIZU, a 99ft Trehard sailing yacht built in 2023, and she’s a solid pick for guests who actually want to sail – not just sit back on a floating hotel.

She’s a proper sailing yacht: cutter-rigged, responsive, and made to move. The crew of four are real sailors – enthusiastic, hands-on, and clearly proud of the boat. You don’t need any sailing experience to enjoy it, but if you want to learn or get involved, they’ll welcome it.

The interior is bright, modern, and more spacious than you’d expect. There’s also a lifting keel, which means better access to shallow bays, and she handles Greek weather well—comfortable even when the wind picks up.

She’s well-suited for active charters—sailing, hiking, paddleboarding. If you want a sailing holiday that actually feels like sailing, AIZU delivers.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like AIZU, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€3,750 - €7,500), making the charter cost €28,750 to €32,500. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew

Crew Information

Captain: Juan Manuel Lima Finozzi

Captain Juan Manuel Lima Finozzi

Dear Guest,
My name is Captain J. Manuel.
I was born and raised in Uruguay, very close to the Atlantic Ocean, and with a great love
for water, starting to sail as a kid.
In my youth, I had my first experiences as a sailor on the Río de la Plata, which was the
beginning of my passion for sailing.
When I arrived in Europe more than 20 years ago, I was determined to achieve my dreams
in the yacht industry and develop my skills as a sailor, starting first with my education.
From there, many years later, I started as a deckhand and grew up to become a Captain,
sailing and commanding many types of yachts, mainly classic schooners, sloops, and
catamarans.
I will continue to develop my passion for the sea, sailing, and service in the charter
industry.
Welcome aboard!

Deckhand Quentin Gibson
Hello, I'm Quentin Gibson, an experienced sailor with a passion for the sea and a
commitment to safety.
With extensive experience, including eight months working on a catamaran in South Africa,
I've navigated various waters, honing my skills and fostering a deep respect for the ocean.
Additionally, I've operated tenders, delivering guests alongside the catamaran, further
enriching my understanding of maritime operations.
My motivation stems from a desire to share the joy of sailing while ensuring the safety of
all onboard.
Alongside my sailing endeavours, I've proudly served with the NSRI (National Sea Rescue
Institute), dedicated to saving lives along the South African coast.
Join me for an unforgettable journey where adventure meets responsibility, and every
voyage is an opportunity to experience the beauty of the sea while prioritizing safety above
all else.

Chef Sheila

A Mallorcan chef raised on fresh Mediterranean cuisine, I bring simplicity, flavour, and heart to every dish. I believe
in the power of fresh, seasonal ingredients — letting the quality of the product speak for itself. After four years of
culinary training and experience in hotels, I moved into the world of private yachts — where I work independently,
creating menus and adapting daily to life at sea. Life onboard has taught me to be creative, practical, and
confident in my craft. For me, cooking is a way of making people feel at home, no matter where we are in the
world.

Stewardess Savannah Meyer

Growing up in South Africa, surrounded by our country’s stunning coastlines and beautiful beaches, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the ocean. I’ve loved swimming and spending time in the sea for as long as I can remember, which led me to study marine science—a decision driven by passion. During my studies, I had the incredible opportunity to work with sea turtles and penguins, experiences that only deepened my love and respect for marine life. Yachting felt like a natural path for me, as it allows me to be close to the ocean every day, while also drawing on my background in hospitality and service. I love that this industry not only lets me deliver exceptional guest experiences, but also gives me the chance to inspire others to care for and respect the environment we’re lucky to enjoy.
