Captain: Rorke

Capt Rorke Miller is a USCG 100T Master, USCG Instructor/Examiner, ASA Instructor, IKO Certified Instructor (kiteboarding) and a Red Cross Instructor.
Captain Rorke has been a professional captain and sailing instructor for the last 23 years. He grew up in Chicago, IL, honing his sailing skills on the Great Lakes before moving on to sail all over the world. A traditionalist at heart, Rorke has captained tall ships, and before buying a St Francis Catamaran, owned and sailed a 1973 Hallberg-Rassy monohull. Keeping with all things wind and water, Rorke is an expert kiteboarder and certified instructor. He is happiest when sharing his knowledge and passion for the water with others.

First Mate and chef Meryl is a native of Michigan. Having traveled, worked, and lived all over the world, her passion is rooted in travel, exploration, adventure, and of course cuisine! When not at their home in Traverse City, MI, Rorke & Meryl live aboard and manage their business of charter and sailing instruction onboard Wanda Rose. Chef Meryl loves to show her flare in the galley making creative cocktails and fresh, soul-satisfying cuisine.
